December 6 (!!!), 2006
How on earth is it December already? That is just wrong. I turn my
back on August for one second and BAM, we’re into the holidays.
Must be a rip in the space-time continuum.
But the good news is that my new novel,
Nearlyweds is on shelves
now, and so easy to order. It’s a
fun, light holiday romp, so it’s perfect for the bookworms (or
newlyweds) on your gift list. It’s also perfect entertainment for
those long, tedious, overbooked airline flights, so you may want
to pick up a copy for yourself. The Chicago Tribune gave a rave
review: “Sharp writing, sharply nuanced characters and a sharp
sense of humor all come together superbly in Beth Kendrick's
exceptionally entertaining new book.” Now doesn’t that sound
better than a dog-eared in-flight magazine?
Nearlyweds was also
selected for Target’s Breakout Books program, so look for it at a
Tar-jay near you in January.
If you’re still searching for new reading material, head on over
to my collective author blog,
Literary Chicks, to enter to win a ginormous (and I DO mean ginormous) basket full of books and
bibliophile goodies. Contest ends on New Year’s Eve, so hop to.
Oh, and speaking of New Year’s Eve,
In One Year
and Out The Other,
a delightful anthology of New Year’s Eve tales featuring my story,
“The Bad Break-Up Regime” is now available in mass market
paperback. Should I give away some copies to you? But of course.
After all, you guys rock. So head over to my
contest page right
now and enter away.
Have a great holiday season, stay warm, keep that immune system
bolstered, and good luck with all your
shopping/wrapping/baking/cleaning/decorating. See you in 2007!
xoxo,
Beth
