So it’s almost Thanksgiving, and you know what that means: Shorts season in Arizona is finally over. Break out the jeans and the sweaters! And hurry! We only have a few more weeks before shorts season starts again. (I exaggerate. Kind of.)

It also means that THE PRE-NUP will be hitting bookshelves at any moment (Tuesday, November 25, 2008, to be exact) and you can snap up your copy right now via Barnes & Noble, Amazon, or New And Used Books.

To celebrate the new release, I’m doing a few reader events around Phoenix. First up, a wine/cake/coffee/gelato/book signing extravaganza (who can resist that?) at Ground Control Coffee and Wine Bar in Goodyear, AZ on Friday, December 5 (click here to see details in the events section below).

Then on Tuesday, December 9, I’ll be participating in a literary girls’ night out with mystery author Marcia Talley at the Poisoned Pen bookstore in Scottsdale (again, click here to see events section for details).

I’d love to meet you and ply you with baked goods at either event. And remember: autographed books make a great, easily-packed, easily-shipped and reasonably priced holiday gift!

Finally, I’m thrilled to announce that THE PRE-NUP has been selected as a Breakout Book for Target’s Bookmarked program. Look for it on Target shelves nationwide starting December 28, 2008.

Hope you have a happy, safe, and minimally stressful holiday season, and remember: when in doubt, cookies and spiced wine will cure what ails you. Trust me. I’ll be holed up in my office with my new manuscript (more on that in a few months), my darling dogs and lots o’carbs.
